With nearly four decades of experience in the municipal and airports sectors TTS is well positioned to provide you with exemplary consultancy and training services. 

Our experience includes equipment research, development, testing and evaluation; airfield management; developing and delivering large scale and tailored training programs; mobile equipment specification and fleet management; facilities maintenance management and de-icing chemical evaluation.

Townshend Technical Services Inc. has been serving the airports and other industries across Canada with consulting and technical and operational training services for over a decade.  We have been engaged with airports of all sizes from coast to coast and in the US and Europe. 

We have provided our services to International, National, Regional, Municipal and local airports, federal government, municipalities, airports organizations and the community college, power generating authority and aircraft manufacturer sectors.

 

About the PrincipalPhoto of Terry Townshend, Principal

Terry Townshend has been employed in the airports industry at senior levels since 1980 in engineering, research and development, operations, maintenance and life cycle management and is a member of the Society of Automotive Engineers (Aerospace), the Institute of Road Transport Engineers and the Society of Operations Engineers and is a registered Incorporated Engineer (I.Eng).

Terry is also registered on behalf of the Canadian Government with Canadian Patents and Development Limited as the developer of the electronic decelerometer - the predominant instrument used across Canada for operational evaluation of runway friction for aircraft performance and elsewhere.
